Good Faith Estimate
You have a right to receive a ”Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your healthcare may cost. If you do not have insurance or do not wish to use your insurance to pay for scheduled non-emergency healthcare services, federal law requires that healthcare providers and facilities provide you with an estimate of the expected charges. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
